March 11th, 2009 -- New VNUML stable release, fixing a problem in 1.8.7 (1.8.7.1).

March 8th, 2009 -- New VNUML stable release: 1.8.7.

February 19th, 2009 -- New EDIV release (0.9.3).

November 30th, 2008 -- New VNUML stable release: 1.8.5.

November 6th, 2008 -- New EDIV release (0.9.2)

October 16th, 2008 -- First EDIV public release (0.9.1), implementing VNUML-based virtualization in distributed multi-host environments is available for download and testing (see the announce in the vnuml-users mailing list).

July 2nd, 2008 -- Added two new examples: RedIRIS Network and NSF Network, based on the real-world RedIRIS and NSF net topologies respectively.

March 19th, 2008 -- Added new example: 3GPP System Architecture Evolution (SAE), supporting the work presented in our paper at TridentCom 2008.

March 6th, 2008 -- New root_fs_tutorial 0.5.2 has been released (minor bugfix)

February 26th, 2008 -- New VNUML coLinux virtual machine available.

January 5th, 2008 -- New VNUML stable release: 1.8.3.

December 31st, 2007 -- The corresponding linux-um .deb for the 2.6.18.1-bb2-xt-4m version is now also available in the APT server.

December 28th, 2007 -- New UML kernel for VNUML has been released: linux-um_2.6.18.1-bb2-xt-4m. It is basically the same than linux-2.6.18.1-bb2-xt-2m with the patch Jeff Dyke sent to the uml list that solves the pts problem.

December 28th, 2007 -- New VNUML minimal root filesystem (n3vlr-0.11-vnuml-v0.1.img) based on N3 Virtual Linux Router has been released. It is a very small rootfs (only 18 M) with low memory requirements (24 M or even less) especially suited to emulate network routers.

November 29th, 2007 -- New VNUML testing release (1.8.2beta4)

July 5th, 2007 -- New UML kernel for VNUML has been released: linux-2.6.18.1-bb2-xt-2m. It can also be installed through APT (using the same repository than vnuml package): 'apt-get install linux-um'.

May 25th, 2007 -- New VNUML stable release: 1.8.1-1.

May 21th, 2007 -- New example scenario showing how to create a mixed VNUML Dynamips/Dynagen scenario is available. Besides, a new howto has been written describing how to install Dynamips/Dynagen
